Get your creative feathers ruffled! The Washington County Fair is hosting a Porch Goose Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Abingdon Fiddlers Convention. Decorate your porch goose and enter it for a chance to win — prizes will be awarded to the top three entries. The winning geese will go on display at the Virginia Welcome Center in Bristol after the fair wraps up.
Entry Details:
- Check-in: Sunday, September 13, 2–5pm
- Pick-up: Sunday, September 20, 1–3pm
Entries will be placed throughout Building A during the week for public viewing.
