We had so many people asking if their favorite farm animals could join the fun that we had to give the people what they wanted! And let’s be honest… we can’t leave any animals out!
The Porch Critters Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Abingdon Fiddlers Convention at the Washington County Fair, will be held in addition to our Scarecrow Decorating Contest and Porch Goose Decorating Contest—giving even more opportunities to show off your creativity!Decorate your favorite porch critter, whether it’s a cow, pig, donkey, goat, sheep, horse, chicken, duck, or any other porch friend!
Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 winners!
Winning critters will be displayed at the Virginia Welcome Center in Bristol after the fair!
