Dust, rope, and grit come to the fairgrounds when the Ranch Rodeo rides in. This is working-ranch competition in scramble format — teams face off in branding, mugging, and bell collar, the same skills cowboys have relied on for generations, run against the clock in front of a fair crowd.
Entry is $150 a man with a #8 incentive, and a Calcutta rounds out the night for anyone who likes their bragging rights with a little money on the line.
There's something in the arena for every age. The Ladies Scramble runs for a $100 entry, while younger riders take their turn in the Youth Maverick Breakaway and Peewee Ribbon Roping. The kids get their own shot at glory in the Calf Scramble — pure chaos, and worth the price of admission by itself.
