- Young Explorers — ages 5 to 8

Youth General Rules
- Exhibits must be made or grown by each individual exhibitor.
- Exhibits must have been made after September 2025.
- Exhibitors may make only one entry per class.
- Food items must be displayed on disposable plates in a re-closeable clear plastic bag.
- Awards may be withheld from any entry not deemed worthy by the judges. We reserve the right to refuse items that are not “fair quality.”
- All decisions of the judges are final.
- The committee is not responsible for items not picked up at the designated check-out time.
- Every possible care will be taken to protect items; however, the committee assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to exhibits. Entries are received only under these conditions.
- Any youth entering 10 items will be awarded a one-day pass to the Fair.
- Classes specifically for youth are divided by age: Young Explorers (5–8), Junior Division (9–13), Senior Division (14–19).
- A “Best of Show” award will be given to the entries deemed best overall in Crafts, Youth Horticulture, Foods, and Clothing. Best of Show may be awarded to any youth ages 5 to 19. Winners receive an additional $5.00 premium and a weekly pass to the fair.
- Best of Show winners need to pick up weekly passes at the main gate on Monday of the fair.

- Art — Paintings (must be matted, no larger than 11x14; must be framed or on strong canvas)

Rules for this section:
- Entries must be in standard canning jars and lids; rings must be on the jar.
- Young Explorers, Junior, and Senior divisions for each fruit or vegetable.
- All entries must have been canned by the exhibitor since October 2025.
- No rust on lids or rims.
- Please put the entry card with the canned item(s).
